Jaclyn Smith REALTOR®
Initially I became a real estate agent in order to spend more time with my family. What I quickly discovered was that what drives me is helping people find their dream home! That, and the community aspect of selling homes, fuels my passion as a Realtor.
In college, I played golf as a Division 1 athlete and champion. Through sports, I learned at a young age what it means to not only be driven, but the importance and necessity of hard work to accomplish your goals. After college, I turned that passion to the classroom where I won the “First Year Teacher of the Year” award in the Johnston County School System.
Today, as a real estate agent, I've experienced firsthand how steeped in tradition our community is. In one aspect, tradition is a good trait. It shows that we remain a community that still cares about our neighbor. However, as new trends develop in business, this approach can be a hindrance. Real estate agents who resist challenging the status quo go by the mantra, “Because that’s the way we’ve always done it.”
I, on the other hand, believe we can maintain the culture of a traditional small town and neighborly approach while also merging innovation and technology. Because of this, I want to show people that there is a smarter and better way to complete real estate transactions in ways that make for a smoother and more enjoyable process. In alignment with this goal, I offer a seamless experience through technology, marketing, and hard work.
I enjoy giving back to the community through organized activities, volunteering my time, and through our financial donations. Currently, I perform volunteerism through my church in the Children’s Ministry.
My goal as an agent is to work with my clients in ways that stand for integrity, respect, hard work, faith, and fun! I strive to have every client feel like all their needs were met beyond their expectations. Clients become lifelong friends, and continue to call me with their real estate needs.
